Work in a workshop abroad or job shadow colleagues in the spring semester 2026 – Erasmus+ pays for the trip.
Practicing abroad is a unique opportunity for the student to develop both as a person and as a future automotive technician. The student gets to work in a real workshop in another European country, meet new people and see how the profession works in a new environment. The student learns new ways of working, practices the language and gains experiences that stand out on their CV.
Job shadowing helps the teacher to: Keep their own professional skills alive, become more confident in teaching new technology and be a better supervisor for students on internship. For the teacher themselves, job shadowing is a chance to: Get inspiration, develop skills and exchange ideas with industry colleagues
