Approved Erasmus + funds that enable 100 learners and VET staff moblity

Amledo & Co has today received good news about new approved Erasmus + funds that enable 100 learners and VET staff from the upper secondary school’s vehicle technical program to make exchanges and study visits to other countries within Europe. The now granted application is made on behalf of The Swedish Confederation of Transport Enterprises.

– International exchanges for development knowledge contacts and education are more important today than ever before for in the transport industry, because so much is happening in technology development. The quality of the education is crucial for attracting more learners, but also for the best match with the needs of the companies. It is important to be able to offer VET staff continuous education and skills development, something that the Erasmus + project contributes to. It is also about the learners’ training and education, which is determined by the quality. A quality of education and training at the right level is crucial for Sweden to keep up in the technology development race. Sweden is at the forefront of technology development in the transport and vehicle industry, but we have a lot to learn from other countries. Vehicles and transport cannot be seen as just a national phenomenon. We have several examples of young people in their careers who have taken employment abroad, says Caj Luoma, head of competence supply at The Swedish Confederation of Transport Enterprises.

In total, Amledo & Co has, on behalf of The Swedish Confederation of Transport Enterprises since 2011, enabled 400 teachers and students to make these exchanges. The funds now received relate to a two-year period start on September 1 this year and the end date August 31, 2021.

The Swedish Confederation of Transport Enterprises is an umbrella organization for associations and companies in the transportation sector in Sweden and represent the entire transport sector altogether organizing 10,100 companies with around 217,000 employees.
